My choice for President: Gov. Chris Christie

I look at qualifications and I look for passion when voting for President. There’s only one candidate that has both: Governor Chris Christie.

Jeb Bush has the qualifications, but he lacks the passion. He looks like a guy forced to run for president.

I like Sen. Marco Rubio but he is a little short of qualifications. On the national stage, he’s little better than Barack Obama. He’s my second choice.

Gov. Christie is a straight-shooter, outspoken and direct. He has a lot of political and judicial experience. He is in-your-face, and I like that in a leader.

I have met Gov. Mike Huckabee, and he is a great guy and I trust him. He could be the shorter and less-known version of Bill Clinton, although with vastly higher personal and ethical standards. He’s my third choice, and I hope he hangs in there until the primaries. We need him in federal government, if not the White House.

My choices could change, so stay tuned. Let me know what you think of my choices.

On the Democrat side: it looks like Hillary will get the nomination. But I think she will also be indicted by the Justice Department for her e-mail violations. The trial will go nowhere, and the indictment will not hurt her.
